At the next DFW UPA meeting, find out how IMC2’s Information Architecture group uses the Axure prototyping tool to produce better results more efficiently. Topics will include:

  • Tips for talking to clients & project teams about Axure
  • Planning and estimating for Axure prototyping vs. static wireframes
  • How/when Axure is good for user testing whole sites or even small functional pieces
  • How/when Axure can be used to communicate with clients about concepts/flow/interactivity
  • How/when Axure can be used to document requirements/specs, and its big limitations
  • When NOT to use Axure
  • Challenges of the current tool (Change control and maintenance of documents, printed spec generation, using design elements in a prototype, conflicts between “simulation” and “documentation” efforts, etc.)
